Stampin' Up! Reading - Training Day

I spent the day at Reading yesterday with over 80 other Stampin' Up! Demos. We were all there for Stampin' Up! UK Leadership Training day.

It was a fabulous day spent with Demos from all over the country.

Whenever Demos get together we like to share and swap ideas :o) I received some wonderful, inspirational swaps yesterday.

The above picture shows the swaps I took with me. I made 85 of these cute little treat holders using the forthcoming new In Colors. Each one holds two little Hershey's Extra Creamy Kisses :o)

To make them you need a 5 1/4" x 1 5/8" piece of card stock.

Score this along the length at 3/4",  2 1/8",  3 1/8"  and 4 1/2".

Crease all your scored lines.

To create the 'Heart' top ....

Feed each end of the card stock into the Fancy Flower Punch.
Line up the first score line with the 'points' at each side - and punch.

You will need to cut the scored line under each 'heart' half way across. Make sure you do this from opposite sides, so the 'closure' will work!

Then decorate as required.

I used a couple of stamp sets coming in our new Main Catalogue in October to decorate mine plus the new 1 1/4" Scallop Circle Punch now available in the Autumn/Winter Catalogue (Page 7 - £14.25).
