In today's Video I show you how I created these lovely Double Z Fold cards.
I used products from the Brightly Gleaming suite, but not the stamp set this time.
The papers are all from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty pack. Sadly these have now sold out in Europe BUT they will be back next year :o)
Full inspiration credit for this card must go to Susan Dawson. I saw her beautiful card on Facebook and knew it would work wonderfully with these products.
This isn't a complicated card to make at all, in fact the design is quite simple. I've made several in this style before but never with the additional band up at the top.
The cards fold flat and can be posted in a normal sized envelope.
I used Pretty Peacock for my base card and Copper Foil for the ornaments and sentiment for this first card.
On the back is a large panel where you can write your message. The sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.
This is the card I created in the Video. I used Night of Navy for my base this time and Gold instead of the Copper.
The 'Christmas' die cut was created using one of the Merry Christmas Thinlits dies. Under the Gold Foil are three additional die cuts in Very Vanilla.
The 'Happy' sentiment comes from another of the stamps in the Itty Bitty Christmas set.
This is how the card looks fully open. These papers are just gorgeous, I'm very happy that we will have them again next year.
I used the Leaf punch for the smaller panels. The 'Berries' were created using a normal office punch. If you have a 1/4" circle punch (or slightly smaller) that would be perfect too.
