Winter Wonderland - #16 'A Very Vintage Christmas'

What gorgeous cards you all created for our 'Frosty The Snowman' theme last week! Thank you to everyone who entered :o) Thank you to Rachel for being our fabulous GDT last week too!

This week our theme at Winter Wonderland is 'A Very Vintage Christmas' and we have two wonderful GDT's this week to help us. Sherry and Gro. Welcome ladies :o)

We are also fortunate again this week to have Regina Easter of The Cutting Cafe as our sponsor. The winner will be drawn at random from all our entries this week. They will be able to pick 3 kits of their own choice from The Cutting Cafe online store. Regina's site offers a wonderful selection of downloadable stamps and templates .... at pocket money prices! The galleries on the site are amazing and offer endless inspiration! Go and have a look!

I have made a card and gift bag this week. I used the Heart Bag Template from The Cutting Cafe for the bag, adding a scalloped edge top to seal the gift bag. I love this template. It's the perfect size for those special little gifts and is so easy to use and adapt.

All products used are from Stampin' Up! unless otherwise stated.

Cardstock ........ Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip
Pattern Paper .... DSP Chocolate Chip
Ink .............. Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Vintage Photo
Stamp Set ........ Old-Fashioned Christmas
Ribbon ........... Lace from my stash
Other Products ... Flat Backed Pearls, Creme De Chocolat Glimmer Mist, Flowers from my stash

Don't forget to check out the other DT's gorgeous creations this week!

I love the way you used this image on your project too! Great old-fashioned look.

My Old-fashioned Santa card was colored with watercolored pencils, but I used Christmas red stickles over the suit and frosted lace stickles on the furry part of the suit. I really love stickles ;)

Thanks for visiting my blog and for the kind comments.

If you haven't signed up for my blog candy, you ought to take a chance at it. There is some fun stuff in the giveaway.

Hugs,
Carolyn
