Heartfelt Blooms

You can now find a Video Tutorial for this background HERE.

I have multiple cards to show you again today :o) This is getting to be a bit of a habit ..... even though I really dislike repeating the same card! These are all a little different though, so I guess that helps as I really enjoyed creating them :o)

These first three cards all include exactly the same elements as the previous one(s) in the series .... I just added 'more' each time.

For this first one, I started with Sahara Sand ink and stamped the big flower stamp from Heartfelt Blooms in each of the four corners of the Vanilla mat. My Sahara Sand ink pad needed reinking, so if yours is juicier, you may need to 'stamp off' first.

I then used So Saffron ink and stamped the flower in the centre(ish) of each side. This is where I stopped.

For this second card, I repeated everything I'd done for the first one. Then I went back to the corners again and used Soft Sky ink to stamp with. This time I didn't go so far in towards the centre, so you can still see a little of the Sahara Sand flowers.

For this final card, I repeated everything I had done on the previous card. I then used Powder Pink ink stamped in the centre of each side - again not going quite as deep as the So Saffron.

I really love this Technique. You can keep going with more colours if you want, you just need to watch that it doesn't start to get 'muddy' :o)

I was on a roll and decided to do just one more :o)

Again, I started with Sahara Sand in the corners-ish. I then went with Crumb Cake on the corners again and finally finished with Early Espresso on the centre of the sides.

What do you think of this Technique? It's really quick and fun to do :o) It's also made me realise that I much prefer this beautiful floral stamp as a background rather than a focal image.

Don't forget that you can choose this stamp set for FREE with any £45 purchase (until 31st March 2018).

Thank you for the great ideas for using this stamp. Was particularly interested in what you did with the Sahara Sand - will have to experiment. Also liked that you used Very Vanilla for the background as it's not so stark as using the white.
