Simply Elegant - Card Box - Video Tutorial

In today's Video I show you how I created this lovely Card Box. The size differs depending on whether you are creating a Box to hold A2 or A6 sized cards ... but it's 1½" deep.

I used the stunning Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Series Paper for this project. One side of each design has gorgeous foiling - in copper, silver and/or gold.

The Butterflies were created using the Brilliant Wings dies.

The Box will comfortably hold 6 cards and envelopes. I made all of them different using each of the designs from the paper pack.

All the Butterflies are different and I added either Gold, Silver or Copper depending on what colour was in the paper.

Here is the Video ...

Stampin Friends Blog Hop - Masculine

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop for May!

This month's theme is 'Masculine'.

If you are following along with the Hop, you may have arrived from Jean's Blog.

Be sure to read through my post, comment below and then continue on to Tiziana's Blog.

If you get lost along the way, you can find a full list of all the participants at the end of each of their Blog Posts.

Here are the projects I created for this month's Hop ...

I used the Soar Confidently stamp set to create a Gift Card Holder (or Money Wallet) together with a coordinating card.

The cloud background layer was created using my own handmade stencil. If you would like to see how I made it, you can find the details HERE.

The image was stamped using Basic Grey ink and coloured using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

The Gift Card Holder measures 3¾” square so is plenty large enough for a Gift Card or to hold money.

The closure is on the back and super simple to do!
