Stampin Friends Blog Hop - Monochromatic March

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop for March!

This month's theme is 'Monochromatic March'. I've used Black and White for my projects but of course you could use tones of any colour you like :o)

If you are following along with the Hop, you may have arrived from  Steph's Blog.

Be sure to read through my post, comment below and then continue on to Tiziana's Blog.

If you get lost along the way, you can find a full list of all the participants at the end of each of their Blog Posts.

Here are the projects I created for this month's Hop ...

I used the Boughs & Blossoms stamp set and coordinating Bough punch to create a Fold Flat Gift Bag and a matching Card.

The Gift Bag is a fabulous size - 8" tall, 6" wide and 4" deep. So you can get a really bulky gift inside :o)

The white panel was die cut using one of the Tasteful Labels dies and then embossed using one of the Meadow Moments folders.

The papers used are from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper pack. You can find this in the current Annual Catalogue under the Host Rewards section. The pack can only be 'purchased' with Host Rewards and is a fantastic price - £17.00 for 48 double sided 12"x12" sheets!

Because the Gift Bag is made completely with paper, it folds flat beautifully so can be stored easily until it's needed.

The card uses all of the same products but I added a sentiment from the stamp set to the bottom of the die cut before embossing it.

I used some of the paper left over from the main part of the Gift Bag for the top and bottom strips on the card and then cut the middle section so it covers the gap in-between them.

Here is the Video for the Gift Bag...

Flowering Rain Boots - Live Life

I'm really enjoying playing with the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set and coordinating Rain Boots Dies.

This card is super simple to make. I used Smoky Slate ink to stamp the Watering Can directly onto the Basic White panel. The Seed Packet and Flowers were then stamped onto scrap Basic White and die cut out.

I used the Dark Daffodil Delight Blends marker to colour the centres of the flowers.

The sentiment was also stamped using Smoky Slate ink. I then used the Light Pool Party Blends marker to outline the 'Bloom' to make it stand out more - I love how this looks!

Flowering Rain Boots - Thank You

Here's another pretty card created using the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set and coordinating Rain Boots Dies.

The paper used this time is from the retired Boho Indigo Product Medley Collection - another I am trying to use up :o)

The sentiment is from the Celebrating You stamp set.

In the photos the papers look to have a White background, but it is actually Vanilla.

The central Vanilla mat was die cut using one of the Tasteful Labels dies.

All the colours used are from the 2020 - 2022 In Colour Collection.
