Flowering Rain Boots - Live Life Card - Video Tutorial

In today's Video I show you how I created these pretty - but very quick and simple - cards.

I used the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set and coordinating Rain Boots Dies, together with papers from the Bloom Where You're Planted Designer Series Paper.

This first one is my favourite! I love the bolder colours and the contrast between them :o)

Both cards use colours from the 2020 - 2022 In Colour Collection.

The sentiment was die cut using one of the Stitched Rectangle dies.

This is the card I created in the Video. I used Smoky Slate instead of Cinnamon Cider for this one.

I also made cuts in the top of the Rain Boots so I could slot the Flower Stems inside. I think this looks nicer than just having them stuck on the top - like the first card.

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

Smoky Slate                                                   14.1cm x 9.8cm           (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP   9.5cm x 9.5cm             (US 3¼” x 3⅞”)

Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP   4.5cm x 9.5cm             (US 2” x 3⅞”)

Smoky Slate                                                    0.8cm x 9.5cm             (US ¼” x 3⅞”)

 

 

You will need additional Basic White, Cinnamon Cider and Smoky Slate card to complete the project.
