Blooms & Wishes - With One Big Meaning

Today's card is a very quick and simple one :o) I chose two stamp sets from our current Annual Catalogue - Blooms & Wishes and One Big Meaning.

One Big Meaning contains lots of lovely 'Thank You' sentiments. It's my favourite of all our Thank You sets at the moment.

I stamped my sentiment using Basic Black Archival ink right in the centre of the card. Then using Lemon Lime Twist ink, I stamped a couple of the leaf images coming from it. Finally, I used Tempting Turquoise and Tangerine Tango ink to stamp two of the smaller flower images a few times above and below it.

A few of our Basic Rhinestones as the flower centres provided the perfect finishing touch.

Friendship's Sweetest Thoughts - With Eclectic Expressions

I had this background layer on my desk for several weeks now and was determined to use it before Sale-a-Bration ended! I've only just managed it with a few days to go!

The background was created using one of the stamps from the Eclectic Expressions stamp set - one of our FREE Sale-a-Bration offerings this year. I used Powder Pink, Rose Red and Melon Mambo ink, overlapping the images slightly to leave only a little white space.

I also inked up my Frendship's Sweetest Thoughts stamp set for the first time. This is one of the new sets from the current Spring / Summer catalogue. It really is pretty with some beautiful images and sentiments.

I coloured the images using an Aqua Painter and my ink pads. The sentiment is from the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set - another of the Sale-a-Bration Freebies.

Amazing You - With Springtime Foils

I have this beautiful card to share with you today .... all in Silver, Gold and Black :o)

I actually love mixing metallics together. This one was easy because the paper I chose already had both Gold and Silver Foiling.  It's from the Springtime Foils Specialty paper pack - a FREE item during our Sale-a-Bration promotion.

I used the Direct to Paper Technique again to colour it - this time using my Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad. Doesn't it look great? I think it's absolutely stunning!

I added a Gold Foil mat under the paper to make the Gold pop a bit more - there's more Silver than Gold in this design. I also used Gold for my Scallop Circle mat.

I stamped the flower twice and embossed one with Gold powder and the other with Silver powder. After cutting both out by hand - the full one in Gold with the foliage and just the top layer of petals for the Silver one - I layered them together using Dimensionals.

I used the Stitched Shapes framelits to cut out the White Circle mat and then Silver embossed the Rays twice - on the top and bottom of it - then positioned my Flower.

The sentiment was die cut using another of our Sale-a-Bration FREE items :o) - the Celebrate You thinlits dies.

I added some Multipurpose Adhesive sheet to the back of a piece of Gold Foil and more to a larger piece of Basic Black card. I cut the sentiment out three times from the Black and once from the Foil. After peeling off the backing from the adhesive sheet, I then layered these on top of each other to create this fabulous dimensional sentiment.
