Soft Seedlings - Inking With Sponge Daubers - Video Tutorial

I am sharing another Technique Video with you today showing how I created these cards using Inking with Sponge Daubers.

I used the Soft Seedlings stamp set together with the Framed Florets dies.

The Framed Florets dies contain several Ovals and I used two of them to create this beautiful 'frame'.

The technique is super simple - you just pick up ink from the ink pads with sponge daubers and apply it to the stamp.

The card bases used for these first two cards are Pumpkin Pie.

I used Real Red for the cards I created in the Video.

Each card in the pair is slightly different. I inked up the stamp using the daubers and then stamped it down onto the first panel. I then spritzed the stamp using water and stamped it onto the second panel. You get slightly different 'looks' doing this.

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card - follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card - follow the imperial measurements (inches).

     

Real Red card base                         ½ an A4 standard sheet of card

Basic White (Inside)                       14.4cm x 10cm            (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Basic White                                        14.1cm x 9.8cm           (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Evening Evergreen                         13.8cm x 9.5cm           (US 5⅛” x 3⅞”)

 

You will need additional Basic White card to complete the project.

Kindest Gnomes - Slimline Triple Easel Card - Video Tutorial

I am sharing another Fancy Fold card with you today. This one is a Slimline Triple Easel card.

I used the Kindest Gnomes stamp set together with papers from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper pack.

The three main images are actually die cut from the papers - although you have the same images as stamps and could just as easily stamp and colour them if you wish to :o)

I used Poppy Parade for the card base for this first one.

This is the card I created in the Video. I chose Pacific Point for the card base this time.

This card style is very easy to do - the Video takes you through the whole process step by step.

The finished card folds flat and will fit inside our Slimline Envelopes which you can find in the Annual Catalogue.

This is how the card looks opened out.

On the back there is a large panel where you can write your message.

Measurements

Pacific Point                                   8¼” x 5½”                     (21cm x 14cm)

 

With the SHORT side across the TOP, score down at: 2¾”         (7cm)

With the LONG side across the TOP, CUT down to the score line at: 2¾” and 5½”

                                                                                                          (7cm and 14cm)

 

One half of the card should now be divided into 3 panels. 

With the panels facing towards the LEFT side SCORE …

 

Panel 1 - diagonally from top LEFT to bottom RIGHT

Panel 2 - vertically at:   1⅜”   (3.5cm)

Panel 3 - diagonally from top RIGHT to bottom LEFT

Brightest Glow - Simple Origami Christmas Trees - Video Tutorial

I have some very simplistic cards to share with you today :o)

The Origami Christmas Trees are very easy to make, although they do take a little time.

I used papers from the 2022 - 2024 In Color Designer Series Paper pack - this one uses Orchid Oasis.

The sentiment comes from the Brightest Glow stamp set.

This is the card I created in the Video. I used Starry Sky paper for the background.

For the Trees on both cards I used Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party.

The 'snow mound' was created using one of the Basic Borders dies.
