Stained Glass Technique using Acetate and Glimmer - with Home To Roost - Video Tutorial

I have a Video Tutorial for you today. This one shows you how to do the Stained Glass Technique but instead of Vellum, I'm using Acetate and Glimmer paper.

I absolutely love this Technique - so much so I've made quite a few cards using it, some of which I'll show you over the next couple of weeks.

I've fallen in love with this Rooster from the Home to Roost Sale-a-Bration stamp set, so I had to use him again for today's card :o)

The Technique is simple. You stamp your image onto Acetate using Stazon ink and then colour it on the reverse using Stampin' Blends Alcohol markers. The Glimmer paper is then added to the reverse using Glue Dots and you are done. The result is really sparkly and beautiful.

You can cut around the image if you like, so you only have the Glimmer showing through the actual image and not all around too - both methods look great :o)

You can see the sparkle a little better in this photo. Isn't it pretty?

Here is my video ....
