Today's Video Tutorial is an interactive card. It's called a Flip Flap card because when you pull the Tab a door opens to display another image/message .... and it shuts when you push the Tab back into place.
I saw this style of card a couple of weeks ago on the Splitcoast Stampers site. There are some really great tutorials on there. I have been subscribed ever since I first discovered Stampin' Up! over 10 years ago now :o) Beth Rush has a tutorial showing you how to create a version of this type of card ... and it a super fun one to try!
I decided I wanted to create a masculine card and chose to ink up my A Good Man stamp set for the first time :o)
When you pull the Tab, a hidden message is displayed.
This is the actual card I created in my Video. I reversed all of the colours used ... apart from on the Deck Chair. Generally I don't like to produce duplicates, so I like to make some sort of change :o)
The papers are all from the Come Sail Away 12" paper pack and I also picked my colours from them.
This card isn't complicated at all, but changing the design/layout for a new version may take a little thought and a trial run :o) I'm going to try a few more of these to experiment as I really like this style of card.
