Background Bits - Team Swap Card

I have been wanting to ink up my Background Bits stamp set ever since I got it! Well a few weeks ago I finally had the opportunity to play.

This is a Hostess stamp set and you will find it towards the back of the catalogue. You can only purchase it using Stampin' Rewards. These are earned when you host a Party and your sales reach at least £150. You can also place an order of this amount (or more) to earn Host Rewards.

All the Hostess stamp sets are priced much less than they would be if they were in the main part of the catalogue, so you get great value :o)

I loved this set as soon as I saw it!

This was the little Swap card I created for my Team meeting at the start of this month. Quick and simple as always.

I used Flirty Flamingo ink for the writing background stamp, but stamped it 'off' first before using it on the card.

I inked up the flower stamp using our Stampin' Markers.

Carols Of Christmas - No. 7

Ok .... don't look at the Glitter on the centre of the flowers on this card either! I said on my previous one that I had problems with remembering that I had put it there ...... well same goes for this one :o)

Even with my 'boo boo', this is a gorgeous card. I used another colour combination of Berry Burst (best colour in the whole world) and Tranquil Tide. They look fab for this Christmas card. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try new colour combinations ..... you may surprise yourself! I knew these would go together, but wasn't sure for a Holiday card ... and it looks great!

The Embossing Folder used on the background is our Holly folder - just perfect for Holidays ..... if it's one you don't own, it's definitely one you'll love! :o)

You can now purchase this bundle of products. Click on the picture in my left hand sidebar for full details.

More with ..... Pocketful Of Sunshine!

This was the second card I designed using the Pocketful of Sunshine bundle for my Team Training make and take this month.

This time I used the pocket as it was meant to be - for the last card it was glued flat. I slotted the map inside and added the sunglasses so that it looked like they were hooked into the top of the pocket.

I love the little pocket tab that comes with this set ... and all the cute sentiments that fit inside it!

The large sentiment is one of those in the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.
