I am sharing another Blended Season card today :o) I LOVE these flowers ..... and I love colouring them!
I used our Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. The flowers are so large, they are a joy to colour. I used 3 shades for both the petals and the leaves.
I started with the lightest colour and covered the whole area. Then used the mid colour, not covering quite as much and finally I used the darkest colour. I used this down the centre line of the leaves and towards the base of each petal. I finished by blending everything using the lightest colour again. I used the light Pool Party Blends around the complete image.
I did a second set of flowers and cut them out by hand. These I shaped using a Bone Folder and my fingers and then layered them on top of the originals to add dimension.
The sentiment mat was cut using the smallest of the Stitched Seasons dies. I told you how I did this in my post on Monday ... HERE.
The sentiment itself came from the Very Vintage Hostess stamp set.
