The Christmas Season has definitely started now. There are gorgeous Holiday projects all over the internet! :o)
One of the new offerings from Stampin' Up! is the Perfectly Plaid bundle. This consists of a beautiful Tree stamp set and a coordinating punch. Purchase them together and you will save 10%
I couldn't wait to test mine out and decided to create two cards, one being a 'stepped up' version of the first.
These plaid Trees are just so lovely. I stamped two directly onto my Whisper White panel using Shaded Spruce ink. The centre Tree was stamped onto a separate piece of Whisper White and punched out - I added Dimensionals to the back of this one.
I used one of the Designer Elements for the 'Star' on the top of the Tree - just perfect!
The Designer Series Paper is from the Wrapped In Plaid 6" Specialty pack. This had gold running through it all and is beautiful! I topped each panel with a very thin strip of Gold Foil.
The Rhinestones come from the Holiday Rhinestones pack.
The sentiment panels for both cards were cut using the same Rectangle Stitched die. I used a die cutting technique for this second one to make the panel a little shorter - just so you could see more of the ribbon :o)
