Winter Wonderland - #20 'Gingerbread'

Another week closer to Christmas ...... Have you joined us yet? Why not give our challenges a try and help with the run up to the Christmas season by creating some cards and other items now? It will ease some of that pressure and give you more time for other things when December hits :o)

Our inspirational theme this week is 'Gingerbread'. Don't forget you can interpret this any which way you like :o) Our GDT this week is the lovely Helen again.

I don't mind telling you that this week our theme stumped me some! I had no idea what to do for it .... I don't own any gingerbread stamps and I struggled with ideas. So ..... thank goodness for Stampin' Up! Punches! I've used them before to make animals and found it was really easy to make a Gingerbread Man with them too :o) I used the 3/4" circle for the head, the 1" circle for the body, Word window for the arms and legs and the 1/4" for the buttons and eyes .. just highlighted with the white gel pen. I think he looks really cute and will definitely use him again :o)

I created the bag using a downloadable template, but adapted it again this week. Instead of adding the flap as before I used the new and very gorgeous Stampin' Up! eyelet border punch around the top edge and folded it over to the front. I also created a handle and used the punch again on the edges ..... fab eh? I'm really happy with my project this week :o)

Don't forget .... You can order Stampin' UP! products from me at any time. If you would like a catalogue you can buy them from me for just £2.50 which includes Postage and Packing.
