Today I'm sharing the first of my Jar of Love cards. Yes, I know ... I am so late to the game on this one. I think this is the third year we've had this set in our catalogue. Apart from using one of the sentiments, mine hasn't seen any ink at all until this week!
All change now and while I waited for my order from the new Annual Catalogue to be delivered, I decided that I would finally have a play with this set :o)
I know I'm going to love playing with the flowers, so decided to see what I could do with some of the other images in the set first.
This little fish is so sweet! I inked him up with Pumpkin Pie and then Rock 'n Roll'd him onto the Poppy Parade ink pad, just to get some on the edges.
I used Balmy Blue ink for the water, but stamped it 'off' first. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the hearts and fish to give a little shimmer.
There are lots of great sentiments in this stamp set, but I had to choose 'Best Fishes' for this one :o)
