Stampin Friends Blog Hop - All About The Paper

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop for August!

This month's theme is 'All About The Paper'. Who doesn't love beautiful, Patterned paper! So this month, the paper is the stand out in our projects.

If you are following along with the Hop, you may have arrived from Jean's Blog.

Be sure to read through my post, comment below and then continue on to Steph's Blog.

If you get lost along the way, you can find a full list of all the participants at the end of each of their Blog Posts.

Here are my projects for this month's Hop ...

I created a Box to hold 6 cards and envelopes and the cards to go inside it. The sizes given for the box are for both A2 and A6 cards.

The paper used is all from the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper pack ... one of my current favourites :o) I used all 12 designs on the cards, so you can see both sides of the paper on each of the cards.

You can find a Video Tutorial for the Box below.

I also used the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set together with the coordinating Penned Flowers dies.

The ribbon is the Gorgeous Grape sheer ribbon.

The die used to created the Scalloped edge came from the Scalloped Contours die set, but you could use the border die in the Penned Flowers set if you prefer - I wanted larger scallops :o)

Colours used - Cinnamon Cider, Pool Party and Garden Green.

Colours used - Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Mint Macaron.

Colours used - Pale Papaya, Misty Moonlight and Garden Green.

Colours used - Blushing Bride, Pale Papaya and Garden Green.

Colours used - Misty Moonlight, Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron.

The Designer Series Paper is layered onto a mat the same colour as the larger flowers. All the colours come from the paper itself.

Each sentiment was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut out using one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

Each card was finished off with a few Basic Rhinestones.
