Stampin Friends Blog Hop - All About The Flowers

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop for April!

This month's theme is 'All About Flowers'.

If you are following along with the Hop, you may have arrived from  Maureen's Blog.

Be sure to read through my post, comment below and then continue on to Jean's Blog.

If you get lost along the way, you can find a full list of all the participants at the end of each of their Blog Posts.

Here are the projects I made for this month's Hop ...

I created two Corner Easel cards together with little boxes to hold them.

The boxes measure 4¼" square and are 1" deep and could also be used as small gift or treat boxes.

You can find a Video showing how I created the card below. My next Blog Post will show you how to create the Box.

I used the Color & Contour stamp set together with the coordinating Scallop Contour dies. The paper is from the Hand-Penned Designer series paper pack.

The colours used for this first card are Misty Moonlight, Pal Papaya and Garden Green.

This is how the card looks fully opened. To close it you just overlap the bottom panels - a magnet will keep them closed. The sides raise up and you want to push the top corners back and raise the easel part.

I wouldn't post this card unless I also sent instructions on how to display it to the recipient, I think it's easier to hand gift it and show them straight away how it should be displayed - otherwise I think it could be very confusing for them :o)

Here is the card I created in the Video. I used Highland Heather, Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron this time.

This is such a pretty card. The style was very popular a couple of years ago. It's super easy to create too!

Here is the Video for the Card ...
