Balloon - Birthday Card

I needed a quick, bright card for a child's birthday and came up with this one :o)

The balloons are created using the small oval punch and the owl punch - a simple bit of punch art, but very effective!

I love all the bright colours together! The sentiment comes from the Hey You stamp set.

The background was embossed using the Lucky Stars embossing folder. This one looks great on the debossed side as well as well as the embossed side :o)

Curvy Keepsake Box

I think the Curvy Keepsake Box is the cutest box that Stampin' Up! have ever released! It's a really sweet size, but large enough to hold lots of different treats and gifts.

This was one of the projects my ladies completed at my catalogue launch back in August.

The stamps are from the Cheerful Tags stamp set - another lovely Photopolymer set :o) I have completely fallen for this type of stamp now - it's just so easy to use!

I used Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo inks. The little tag is one of three different ones that come with the box die.

Seasonally Scattered - Team Swap

Last night I held the Monthly Meeting for my Stampin' Up! Team :o)

We always 'swap' when we get together and this was the card I designed as my swap.

It uses the Seasonally Scattered stamp set. I stamped the image onto Whisper White cardstock using Versamark and then heat embossed it using Silver embossing powder.

I applied a couple of strips of the All Is Calm Washi Tape along the bottom to finish.

 A very quick and simple to do ... but I think it makes for a very pretty card :o)
