Four Feathers - Birthday Card

In designing my Pages for this month's Scrapbook Class, I had quite a few feathers left over :o) Rather than waste them, I decided to create a card based on the Pages.
I used Gorgeous Grunge again to create the background mat.
The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments set.

The feathers were stamped onto Vellum and Basic Black cardstock using Versamark and heat embossed using Silver embossing powder.

I cut additional feathers from the Silver Glimmer and Silver Foil card.

Petite Petals - Cone Treat Holder

After making a Halloween Cone Treat Holder  I wanted to create another .... but with a little more elegance this time :o)

I decided to stick with the Back to Black papers which were still on my desk, but pulled in the ever faithful Petite Petals stamps and punch :o)

I stamped them with Black Stazon, punched them out and added some of the larger pearls in the centres. Quite simple .... but stylish :o)

The ribbon is the Black Chevron and goes perfectly.

These would be perfect as Dinner Party or Wedding Favours.

You could search the catalogue and not spot where the sentiment comes from! It's actually one of the stamps included in the Hip Hip Hooray card kit (page 197).

Back To Black - Four Feathers - Scrapbook Page 2

I decided to use one of the Project Life Photo Pocket Pages for my second Page in last month's Scrapbooking Class.

The Back to Black DSP was used to back the four Photo mats at the top and bottom. I also used it to create one of the smaller sections.

The Journalling mats are two of the Project Life Grid Cards. These were stamped with the Feathers in Basic Black and Smoky Slate.

Like the first Page, the feathers were all heat embossed using either Black, White or Silver embossing powders.

The right hand mat was stamped using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set - again in the black and slate with a little silver heat embossing.
