Sale-a-Bration - Lotus Blossom

One final Lotus Blossom card for now :o)

I had to use the oval I cut from one of the previous cards, so I designed another card around it :o)

I really struggled to photograph this one! I have never had such a problem with a card before! I couldn't pick up the beautiful background. This is such a pretty card, but without the polka dots showing, it just looked flat. 

The colours used here are Rose Red and Pink Pirouette, together with Old Olive for the stem.




I used a Stampin' Spritzer together with Rubbing Alcohol (Isoprophyl) and Pink Pirouette reinker to colour the Irresistibly Yours paper used on the background. 

The Oval section was coloured using a sponge and Old Olive ink.

Best Day Ever - Flowers Card

I have another card to share with you today using the Best Day Ever stamp set! 

Bright and Busy .... I think! :o) But .... I love it still :o)

I mounted the two little triangle shapes onto the same acrylic block, so the borders were stamped quite quickly .... remember I opted for the Photopolymer option for this set.

The little flowers were stamped and then hand cut, so they took the longest to do, but the shape is simple so it wasn't too bad :o)

I chose to use Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry again ..... this probably isn't a combination I would ever have chosen, but I thought they looked beautiful together in the Best Year Ever DSP and Accessory Pack.
