Catalogue Inspired - Embellished Ornaments

The second card from my mini Christmas Stamp a Stack was catalogue inspired :o) You can see the original on page 15 of the Autumn / Winter catalogue.

Everyone attending my class received a pack of the Metal Rimmed Pearl embellishments, so I changed the foil, thread and embossing from gold to silver and added one of these embellishments to the centre of the Bauble.

The Holly leaves were stamped using Old Olive ink. I then used an Aqua Brush to 'pull' the colour into the centre of the leaves

The bauble was inked up using Island Indigo ink. We then used sponges to add Night of Navy ink to the top right and bottom left edges.

Wonderland - With Cozy Christmas and Heat and Stick

Last night I held my mini Christmas Stamp a Stack. My ladies made 8 cards altogether - 2 each of 4 designs.

This was the first card. It uses the Trees and sentiment from the Wonderland stamp set. The Santa and the Reindeer image is from Cozy Christmas.

All the stamping was done directly on to a Whisper White mat, which was then sponged using Soft Sky and Night of Navy ink.

This card is super glittery! We covered the mat with Versamark ink and then added Heat and Stick powder all over.

The powder was then melted using a Heat Tool and Dazzling Diamonds added - another quick blast with the Heat Tool and it's done. The effect is beautiful :o)

Gorgeous .... Festive Fireplace

This is such a lovely stamp set! I wasn't going to buy it ...... BUT :o)

It's a really fun set and co-ordinates with two sets of our new framelits/thinlits - Festive Fireside and Hearth & Home.

It's such a sweet idea for a stamp set, enabling you to build your own festive fireplace with all the different elements included.

I watercoloured the images using an Aqua Painter and the ink pads.
