Sweet Cupcake - Final Class Card

Good Morning! Today's card is the final one we created in my recent Sweet Cupcake class.

I used one of the Stitched Shapes Square framelits to create the White mat in the background. It's fairly simple to create rectangles with these :o)

The three dots after the stamped sentiment were added using the Dapper Denim marker.

The three steps of the cake topper were stamped using 1. Dapper Denim, 2. Dapper Denim stamped 'off' and 3. Soft Sky.

The base uses 1. Soft Suede, 2. Crumb Cake and 3. Sahara Sand - I kept this the same for all the cards.

I used the Marbled background stamp on all the cards for this class. I really like this stamp just inked up using Sahara Sand, but I think it could look really good with a mix of colours too ..... I feel another 'play' coming on soon! :o)

The plain Vanilla toppers were embossed using the Seaside embossing folder.

The complete class :o)

Merry Little Labels - Tags And Box

On the first Wednesday of each month, I hold a Team Training meeting for all the members of my Stampin' Up! Team.

Each meeting has to include crafting and I enjoy designing little projects for my lovely ladies to make.

This month it was all about Tags :o)

We created 15 Tags altogether and the first part of this project involved decorating one of our lovely Pizza Boxes to hold them all.

The first 5 Tags all used images from the Merry Little Labels stamp set. These were each inked up using our Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin' Markers, so took a little time to complete.

The second set of 10 Tags took no time at all to do! They are really quick and simple to create! These were an idea from Dena Albee. Images from the Oh What Fun stamp set were used to complete these.

Make A Wish - With Sweet Cupcake

Hi There :o) I'm back today with another card from my Sweet Cupcake Project class.

The cake top was stamped this time. I used Berry Burst ink for the first step stamp. Berry Burst ink again for the second step - but I stamped it 'off' first ..... and then Powder Pink for the third step. I find it much easier to stamp the images by starting with the darkest colour and going lighter.

You get two different Word framelits with the Cupcake Cutouts framelits dies.

The little sentiment mat at the top left of the card was created by using the Classic Label punch. This is much longer than what's shown but easy to make shorter. You just punch out your sentiment, positioning the words towards the left, then put the punch-out back into the punch lining up the top and bottom edges and re-punch the right hand side making it whatever size you need :o)
