Quick & Easy Card using Balloon Celebration

This card came together very quickly! I knew what I wanted, so really it was just a case of picking colours to use.

I went with the 2018 - 2020 In Colour collection.

Using the large and small solid Balloon stamps from the Balloon Celebration stamp set, I stamped them in each of the five colours and punched them out using the coordinating Balloon Bouquet punch.

Originally I had thought I would stamp some of the Balloons directly onto the background panel, but decided it was just quicker to lay the punched ones out how I wanted them and glue them down. I raised the large Blueberry Bushel one up on Dimensionals, but all the others are flat.

Hung With Care - Again!

When I created THIS card for last Monday's post using the Hung With Care Hostess stamp set, I had a couple of Stockings left over. It wasn't in me to just throw these away, so I had to design another card for them :o)

The Stampin' Marker colours I used to ink these up were Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather. This combination is gorgeous! A bit different for Christmas, but I think it works and looks so beautiful.

I stamped the sentiment and hooks using Versamark ink and then embossed them using Silver powder.

Double Gate Fold Card with Partial Die Cutting - Using Dashing Deer

I have another Video Tutorial for you today. It's to create this Double Gate Fold card which also uses Partial Die Cutting.

I used the Dashing Deer bundle and also the Winter Woods stamp set.

The card is a lovely shape and definitely has a WoW factor :o)

I used the Partial Die Cutting technique on two of the Deer. This is really optional for this card because you could have just stamped them, cut them out and glued them into position on the card if you had wanted to. I wanted to show you how easy this technique is to do and I love the effect you get with the Deer cut away from the card itself - it looks great!

The card takes a little while to complete, not because of the Big Shot technique used but because I chose to do lots of sponging on the background. The Deer were stamped in Black ink and Heat Embossed using Clear powder.

It folds completely flat, so will fit inside a standard envelope.

This is how the card looks opened fully.

Here is the Video ....

Measurements

All you need to create this card is a full sheet of your standard size card stock. Cut it in half to create 2 x card bases and score them down the centre as you would normally do.

The front panels were scored at 5.25cm (US 2").
