Friends Are Like Seashells - Greetings Card

Friends Are Like Seashells is one of the new stamp sets in the January to June Mini Catalogue. It's part of the beautiful Sand & Sea product suite.

I stamped lots of the Shells and Seaweed and either die cut them or cut them out by hand. You could die cut them all, but some are attached to a large panel die and I found it easier and quicker to cut those out by hand.

All the Shells were arranged around a die cut Circle of Whisper White card, onto which I stamped the sentiment.

The paper is from the coordinating Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper pack.

Art Gallery - Birthday Card using Gilding Flakes - Video Tutorial

I've been playing with new products from the Mini Catalogue!

There are lots of gorgeous Floral stamp sets in this new catalogue, but the Art Gallery bundle was the one I chose! I love it!

The words come from the coordinating Floral Gallery dies. I cut them from Gold Glimmer paper ... I hadn't realised that this had retired. I don't mind using retired products occasionally, but I would have used the Gold Foil if I had known and it would have looked just as nice :o)

The paper is from the coordinating Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper pack.

The colour used on the Flower and for the sentiment is Terracotta Tile.

I used Gold Gilding Flakes on the Flower. Mine are not from Stampin' Up, but they do now sell them. I have a huge great pot of them so wasn't going to buy more just yet :o)

This is the card I created in the Video. The contrasting colour this time is Merry Merlot.

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

Beautiful Friendship - Monochromatic Birthday

If you need a quick Birthday Card you really can't do better than use the Beautiful Friendship stamp set.

I stamped the background using Highland Heather but stamped 'off' each time first. I layered this panel onto a Purple Posy mat.

The sentiment was cut out using one of the Hippo & Friends dies. 

The flower buds were each cut out by hand, but this didn't take much time at all. A couple of Rhinestones and the card is done :o)
