On Film - Scrapbook Page 1

This is the first of two Pages created in my Scrapbook Class last night :o)

The colour combination for both Pages was Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry and Night of Navy.

The papers are all from the Regals and Brights Backgrounds DSP Stacks.

I used the On Film Framelits Dies to create the Film Strip elements. The letters were all cut using the Little Letter Thinlits Dies. 

A small tip : When using the Letter Thinlits and some of the On Film Framelits it is a good idea to put Waxed Paper in between the cardstock and the die - this will ensure it not only cuts cleanly, but  it's also much easier to then remove the cardstock from the die :o)

Four Feathers - Birthday Card

This was one of the cards I designed for my Technique Class this month - we never got around to making this one though, so will do it next month :o)

It showcases another simple Technique - the Faux Bow.

I used the Four Feathers stamps set - although only used three of the feathers on this card. The set has a matching Framelits set too and you can purchase both items together as a Bundle for a 15% reduction in cost.

I stamped the sentiment onto the white mat before running it through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots embossing folder.

Watercolour Winter - Simply Sent Card Kit

Have you seen the new Simply Sent kit on page 39 of the Autumn / Winter catalogue?

Watercolour Winter is a beautiful kit costing £22.95 and makes 20 cards as shown above (5 of each) - you do have lots of bits left over though that you can use for other projects.

Each card has watercolour elements on it. For this one it's the trees. I think this is my favourite of the four, but I love the sleigh card too!

A brush is included in the kit. You will need to add a few other products to complete the cards as shown - or you can use supplies you own already and 'freestyle' :o)

You will find the Watercolour Winter Too stamp set on the same page as the kit, this is used for all the stamped sentiments.

You also need a Bermuda Bay ink pad and four ink refills for the watercolouring - Coastal Cabana, Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate and Old Olive.

I am running a Special Class based on these kits. You only pay for the kit itself - £22.95 and I will provide all the other items you need (apart from glues).
