By The Tide

This is another card inspired by one from France Martin :o)

I haven't used the Direct to Paper technique in class for a long time. so decided to include it this month.

I used Lost Lagoon and Sahara Sand ink pads for the background - you just gently drag them across your card stock to create the effect.

We used another quick Technique to stamp the shells too. These were first stamped using the Hello Honey ink pad. The stamp was cleaned and the image lined up over the first one using the stamp-a-ma-jig and image sheet. 

We then moved the imaging sheet so it was slightly 'off' the original image before stamping again in Lost Lagoon ink. The result does make your eyes go a little 'funny' for a bit - but once the image is cut out, it looks great. You just get a hint of the lighter colour, which was exactly what I was after :o)

Flowering Fields - Team Training Make and Take

I love this little set! I created it using some of our Notecards and Envelopes. These are such a great size for this type of card, being just a little smaller than our standard size card. 

I've used the Sale-a-Bration freebie Flowering Fields for the images and the Crazy About You stamp set for the sentiments.

The images were coloured using a Blender Pen with the Ink Pads. 

The beautiful papers are from another of our freebie Sale-a-Bration items - the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper pack!

I lined all the envelopes using the Envelope Liner framelits.

Party Pants

This little card was my Swap for my Team Meeting earlier this month.

I used the Party Pants stamp set - which is one of the new Sale-a-Bration offerings that was released last month. You can see all the additional Freebie products by clicking on the picture in my right hand sidebar :o) 

Party Pants is a fun set - it has lots of sentiments and a lovely, simple Balloon image too. And ..... it coordinates with our Balloon Bouquet punch too!

I stamped the Balloons 'off' onto scrap paper first before stamping them again on the card - this gives a lovely faded look and I was able to use the Confetti stamp on top of the Balloons in the same colour.
