Small Gift Bag / Treat Holder - Using Beauty & Joy - Video Tutorial
Today's Video shows you how I created these Small Gift Bags / Treat Holders.
They measure 3" wide, 5½” tall and 1½" deep. The perfect size for a small gift or sweet treat :o)
Rococo Rose was the main colour for this first Bag. The Foliage was stamped with Old Olive ink and the Berries with Cherry Cobbler. The Stems were in Crumb Cake.
This is the Bag I created in the Video ... and the one I prefer :o) I think if I had used Crumb Cake for the background on the first Bag I would have liked them equally :o)
I used Cherry Cobbler for the Pot, Berries and the sentiment this time and Garden Green for the Foliage. The little star on the top is stamped with Crushed Curry ink.
The mat for the sentiment and both mats for the image panel were die cut using the Rectangle Stitched dies.
Here is the Video ...
Measurements
Thick Very Vanilla 9½” x 7”
Score at 3”, 4½”, 7½” and 9”
Quarter turn clockwise and Score at 1½”
Ribbon 50cm / 20” approx.
Linen Thread 14cm / 5½” approx.
You will need additional Very Vanilla card for stamping and die-cutting and Cherry Cobbler card for die-cutting.

Gift Box - Using Winter Woods - Video Tutorial
In today's Video I take you through how I created this Gift Box. This time, I also show you how I calculate the measurements I needed for the sizes of cardstock to cut and the score lines.
Some people really struggle when creating Bags and Boxes especially if they need different sizes to the ones shown. I hope that by showing you how I calculate the measurements it will help you adjust them for your own needs :o)
The Designer Series paper I used for this Box is retired. It is from the Bundle of Love specialty pack. I had a full pack left and it's my goal to use it all up for this Christmas ... I'm nearly there :o)
This paper is actually a cardstock, so it's perfect for creating boxes with. You could use any card or thick paper that you have.
The Box opens on the top. It's a very simple design that I use a lot.
The method I show you in this Video is not the only way to create it - there are many different ways of creating the same box :o)
I used the Winter Woods stamp set for my front panel. It gives such a lovely classic look to the box.
The Black Satin ribbon is retired. We still sell Black Satin but it is slightly narrower. I've linked it below as it would still be perfect for this project.
Here is the Video ...
Measurements
Cardstock / DSP 8”x 8”
Score at ¾”, 6¾” and 7½”
Quarter turn clockwise and REPEAT the scoring
Cardstock / DSP 6¾”x 6½”
With the SHORTER side across the top, score at 6”
Quarter turn clockwise and score at ¾”
Ribbon 70cm / 25” approx.
You will need additional Very Vanilla card for stamping and die cutting and Basic Black card for die cutting.

Small Purse Gift Bag - Using Magnolia Blooms
I uploaded a Video showing you how to create this style of Gift Bag a few weeks ago. This was another of the samples that I made at that time. You can see my original post HERE.
I used the stunningly beautiful Magnolia Lane Designer Series paper this time.
The ribbon and the twine come together in the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack ... and both are lovely :o)

The flower was created using the Magnolia Blooms stamp set. It has a total of 5 layers, so is very dimensional.
The Whisper White layer behind the flower was embossed using the Subtle folder.
I stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured using the Stampin' Blends Alcohol markers.
