Hippo Happiness - Rainbow

Today's card was created using the Hippo Happiness stamp set and coordinating Hippo & Friends dies.

I love this dies set because you not only get all the outline dies for the images in the stamp set, but you get a huge assortment of dies to create different mats. I used two of them on this card :o)

I wanted to create a 'rainbow' card so chose papers from the Brights 6" Designer Series Paper pack.

The sentiment was punched out using the Classic Label punch.

Whale Done - Simple Birthday Easel Card - Video Tutorial

In today's Video I show you how I created this simple Easel card.

I used the Whale Done stamp set and coordinating Whale Builder punch, together with paper from the Whale of a Time 6" Designer Series Paper pack.

The card is so simple to create. If you have never made an Easel card before this design is a great one to start with.

Measurements

Note: If you use A4 as your standard sheet of card – follow the metric measurements (cms).

If you use 8½” x 11” as your standard sheet of card – follow the imperial measurements (inches).

 

         

Calypso Coral card base                          ½ an A4 standard sheet of card

                                                                                                                        (US 8½”x 11”)   

Score at the halfway point as normal and at     7.4cm          (US 2¾”)

 

Pretty Peacock x2                                       14.1cm x 9.8cm    (US 5¼” x 4”) 

Whisper White (Inside)                            13.9cm x 9.5cm    (US 5⅛” x 3⅞”)

Whale of a Time DSP                                 13.9cm x 9.5cm    (US 5⅛” x 3⅞”)

Calypso Coral                                                 9.5cm x 6.3cm       (US 3⅞” x 2⅜”)

Whisper White                                              9.5cm x 6cm           (US 3⅞”x 2¼”)

Calypso Coral                                                 4.8cm x 2.1cm      (US 1⅞”x 13/16”)

 

You will need extra Whisper White card to complete the project.

Special Someone - Birthday

Good Morning! Today's card uses the lovely Special Someone stamp set and coordinating Special Day dies.

The colours used are Gray Granite, Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight.

I also used dies from the Stitched So Sweetly set and the Tasteful Labels set for the background mats and sentiment mat.

The Whisper White mat was embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.

The paper used is from the Brights 6" Designer Series Paper pack.
