Dashing Deer in Copper

Yes .... I'm still playing with the Dashing Deer bundle! :o) I love the images and cannot help myself!

Today, I embossed the Deer using Copper embossing powder and then cut it out with the coordinating thinlit from the Detailed Deer set.

The little floral border stamp is gorgeous! I just added one Rhinestone in the centre of each for that perfect finishing touch.

Another using Hung With Care and Warm Hearted

Another card today using both of the Hostess stamp sets from the Autumn / Winter catalogue. I did say I love them, didn't I? :o)

I bought Warm Hearted for the large sentiment stamps - and especially love this 'Merry Christmas' one. The font is beautiful! I stamped it with Versamark ink and embossed it with Silver powder.

Hung with Care is just such a sweet set. I love all the different stockings and the simple sentiments that you can hang them from.

The Stocking images were all inked up using our Stampin' Markers - Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather.

The background layer has been created using the Tin Tile dynamic embossing folder. I inked it first using the Balmy Blue ink pad. I wasn't thorough with it and love the grungy look that it produced. I think it looks great with the contempory images and colours used for the rest of the card :o)

Diamond Fold Card using the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies - Video Tutorial

Good Morning!

I have another Video Tutorial for you today. It shows you how I created these Diamond Fold cards.

The papers used are from the Joyous Noel Specialty 12" paper pack. These papers are gorgeous! They have Copper foiling on them and are just beautiful!

This style of card is very simple to do. If you haven't seen or made one before, have a watch of my Video to see how it's done.

You can make them any size. I created a 5" x 5" one in the video and I also show you how I created an envelope for it. I also explain how easy it is to adjust the size of your card you create if you need to.

This side view shows you all the 'fancy folding' - it looks like such a complex card to create, but it's definitely not.

The back view was tricky to photograph! :o)

I added a panel on the back where you can write your message :o) The card opens up flat, so it's not a problem to write on. And ..... it will fold flat and smaller too, to fit inside your envelope.

Here is the Video ....
