Guy Greetings

Guy Greetings is my stamp set for this 'week' :o) I like to pick one or two stamp sets and concentrate on them only for a while, making several samples to show my customers.

This is a huge set - with 22 stamps. Fortunately it's available in Photopolymer, so doesn't have to cost the earth! And .. it's the perfect stamp set for all those men in your life!

All the images have a vintage feel and the set includes loads of sentiments.

This card came out completely different to how I had pictured it in my head :o) I wasn't keen on this image and couldn't see me ever using it ..... so of course I picked it out first :o) And ..... I love this card! It's totally masculine and perfect for my Brother's birthday next month.

I stamped the image onto Very Vanilla card stock using Night of Navy ink and cut it out. It looked a little naked, so I got out my Aqua Painter and lightly water coloured the trousers, shoes, hair and moustache.

I used the Oval Collection Framelits to cut out the mats - I seem to be using these all the time at the moment - Because I Love Them! :o)

I stamped the sentiments directly onto the background mat - not quite centrally ..... but no one will notice :o)
