Watercolour Wings - Technique Card

This is the first of the Technique cards created in my Class last night.

We completed three altogether, so I will show you the others over the next couple of days.

This first one is very simple ..... although the majority of paper crafting techniques are! I showed my ladies how to create the Double Heart border at the bottom of the card.

All you need is a length of cardstock that is between 1.6cm and 2cm wide (⅝" and ¾").

You use the Heart Border Punch to punch a complete row. Then turn the strip to punch the opposite edge. You just need to ensure that the bottom of each of the hearts in the first row is positioned between the hearts on the new row ....... does that make sense? Because the hearts are printed on the base plate of the punch, it's pretty easy to do. Although it's the sort of thing that's easier to 'show' than 'tell' :o)
