Daisy Delight - Gift Box and Card

NOTE: You can now find a Video Tutorial for this Box HERE.

One of my lovely friends had a birthday recently ..... and this was the little set I made for her :o)

I used the Daisy Delight stamp set and matching punch, together with sentiments from the Birthday Blooms stamp set.

The box is 4" square and 5 ½" tall and holds a large Yankee candle.

The Daisy on the lid of the box has 6 layers in total. I made three lots of two daisies and stacked these on top of each other using Dimensionals to give a little extra height.

I used the Scallop Tag Topper punch to create the Tag on the front of the box.

I used our (now retired) Kraft card stock for the base of the Box and Card. I had originally planned this to look completely different to how it turned out .... but somehow, this is how it ended up :o)

I love this style of box. It's really solid and sturdy.

To get a similar look, you could use Crumb Cake card or even the reverse of our gorgeous Foil Frenzy Specialty card stock (which is Kraft) .... this would give you a very fancy inside for your box! :o)

I wanted to create a coordinating card, but I didn't want it to be over fussy by adding the large punched Daisy. Instead I 'linked' it to the Tag design.

The Border punch used for this card is the new Decorative Ribbon Border (143721). Unfortunately, for some reason I wasn't able to create a link for this in my Supplies List below.

I love the box and the card you made!! I'm in the process of making Mother's Day cards for my girls and plan to case your card. Thanks so much for your great idea! I love it!
