Blooms & Wishes - With One Big Meaning

Today's card is a very quick and simple one :o) I chose two stamp sets from our current Annual Catalogue - Blooms & Wishes and One Big Meaning.

One Big Meaning contains lots of lovely 'Thank You' sentiments. It's my favourite of all our Thank You sets at the moment. 

I stamped my sentiment using Basic Black Archival ink right in the centre of the card. Then using Lemon Lime Twist ink, I stamped a couple of the leaf images coming from it. Finally, I used Tempting Turquoise and Tangerine Tango ink to stamp two of the smaller flower images a few times above and below it.  

A few of our Basic Rhinestones as the flower centres provided the perfect finishing touch.

Thankful Life - Embossed

Hello :o) I am back with the Hostess stamp set Thankful Life today! 

I am really loving this set! This time I decided to emboss the flower image ..... not just in one colour, but three!

This is quite easy to do because the image is made up by using three separate stamps. I stamped the first using Versamark with Silver embossing powder. The second was in Gold and the final one in Copper.

I added a mat of Silver Foil behind the image mat - to give it more shine :o)

And .... you do get lots of lovely subtle shine with this Technique. The first two photos don't really show it, but I managed to capture it for this last one :o)

The sentiment comes from the Blooms & Wishes stamp set.

Blooms & Wishes - Pop-Up And Twist Panel Card

I inked up a new stamp set for this Pop-Up and Twist Panel card! Blooms & Wishes is a beautiful floral set. 

It was the fonts used for the sentiments in this stamp set that caught my eye at first, but I have loved playing with all the flower images on this card.

The stamp set coordinates with the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series paper pack, so I chose all the colours based on those used for the papers.

Once the card is opened, four panels 'pop' up ... It's very much a 'wow' card!

I used the Watercolour Wings stamp set and matching framelits/thinlits to create the butterflies :o)
