Dragonfly Garden - With Ink Blending

Here's another card created using the Dragonfly Garden bundle. I really like this set for its simplicity :o)

I spent some time creating the background and blending the four colours together. 

I stamped the flowers and the Dragonfly using Smoky Slate ink - I prefer using this to Black as it gives a much softer look.

I added some Clear Wink Of Stella over the Dragonfly to give it a subtle glimmer.

Dragonfly Garden - With Basic Borders

Here's another card created using the beautiful Dragonfly Garden bundle.

I used one of the Basic Borders dies to cut the White mat and then embossed it using the Dots folder from the Checks & Dots set.

The paper is from the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper pack.

I used a die from the Tasteful Labels set to cut out the sentiment - It's perfect with the Basic Border die.

The Black Rhinestones down the Dragonfly's body are retired but you could use our Matte Black Dots instead or colour some of our Basic Rhinestones.

Dragonfly Garden - Inked Panel Background - Stepped Up

Last week I showed you a much simpler version of this card - you can see it HERE. Today I've stepped it up! :o)

The background was created using our ink pads and Blending Brushes - and it is so simple to do. If you would like to see how, you can find the Video Tutorial for my previous card HERE.

I did change the colours slightly this time. For my earlier card I used Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride and Highland Heather. This time I swapped the Blushing Bride for Flirty Flamingo. We don't have Stampin' Blends alcohol markers in Blushing Bride and that was the only reason - BUT I much prefer this colour combination!

The Floral image was stamped onto Basic White card and die cut using one of the Stitched Rectangle dies. We don't actually have one this long and I had to do some partial die cutting to extend the panel.

The images were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured using the Blends alcohol markers. 

I added a little Clear Wink of Stella to give a subtle sparkle too!

The sentiment comes from the Biggest Wish stamp set.
