These were the little gifts I gave each of my Class attendees at my last month's Project Class.
The box design isn't mine - it's based on one by Cornelia Janssen. You can find her video here. The video is in German, of which I have no knowledge :o) but it's still very easy to follow.
I changed all the measurements for my little box, making it a little bigger and converting to inches. I also added the ribbon pull to help with opening it. I didn't score the paper, but just wrapped it around the box creasing it on the edges and securing it with tape adhesive.
This is another of the flower stamps from the Flower Shop set. I coloured it using my Stampin' Blends during my recent 'play' session :o)
The sentiment comes from the Rose Wonder stamp set.
Good Morning :o) Today I'm sharing a couple of small boxes I created to hold some gifts for my recent Parties. I always give my Hostess a gift for holding a Party ... and there is a little Door Prize gift for one of the attendees too. The larger gift has ribbon samples inside and the smaller one has chocolates. When I received my Stampin' Blends alcohol markers I stamped and coloured lots of these little flowers to test them out :o) The stamp is from the Flower Shop set.
I decorated the boxes to match the card I showed you here. I used some of the Merry Music Christmas papers, choosing one that I thought didn't really look too seasonal :o)

Here is my first play with the new Stampin' Blends Markers .....
I decided to use one of the flowers from the Flower Shop stamp set. I chose both the light and dark Pink Pirouette markers. My card base is Thick Whisper White card, but I stamped on our normal Whisper White. This is buffered and has a beautifully smooth surface, perfect for using our Stampin' Blends on.
The pens are very easy to use and blend beautifully. I stamped the image onto Whisper White card using Memento Black ink. I started with the Dark Marker and went over all the areas where I thought it should go.
I then used the Light Marker to go over the whole flower, blending the edges of the Dark colour as I went. I'm no expert ..... and I haven't used alcohol markers in ages but I was really happy with the results :o)
