May Project Class - Painted Blooms Stationery Box - Contents

Yesterday I showed you this gorgeous Stationery Box. You can see the original post HERE.

Today I'm going to show you the main contents of the box.

All the contents were fairly quick to create and put together. The box itself took some time, so everything else needed to be as simple as possible :o)

The box holds six Tags. These were punched using the Angled Tag Topper punch and decorated with this beautiful sheet from the Painted Blooms DSP.

The mini pen also has a little piece of the same DSP wrapped around the barrel inside, so it coordinates perfectly :o)

Next we have four Mini Thank You cards. I sized these at 3" to fit inside our Mini Envelopes.

The sentiment comes from the Painted Petals stamp set and the Daffodil back layer from the Four Frames stamp set. Both of these stamp sets are going for good come 2nd June - so get them while you still can!

Finally there are six full sized (A5) Birthday cards. These were created using one of the 12"x12" sheets in the Painted Blooms DSP pack.

I added a butterfly to each, created using the Butterflies Thinlits.

The sentiment is from the Wetlands set.

It really is a lovely project and my ladies - although a little stressed about having to create so much in an evening :o) - all loved it!

May Project Class - Painted Blooms Stationery Set

This beautiful Stationery Box is the project my lovely ladies are creating in class this month! I absolutely love it. It was such a fun project to do.

The  box is based on a tutorial on Split Coast Stampers, created by Jackie Topa - about 5 years ago!

I had to change a fair bit of the design to get it to work for me, but I'm so pleased with the end result.

I resized it so I could fit our European C6 envelopes into the main pocket. I also wanted a pen pocket on the front too.

The box is created using Rich Razzleberry cardstock. Although not avertised, this cardstock also co-ordinates with our Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper - so it was a perfect choice to use for decorating the box.

I created two pockets for the front section of the box. The one on the left holds a Notebook and the one on the right is a little covered pocket with a magnetic closure to hold Postage Stamps.

Come back tomorrow to see the contents in more detail :o)
