Little Ladybug - Thank You Card - Using Stencils - Video Tutorial

Today I'm sharing my final card created using the Little Ladybug stamp set. I will really miss this one, I've loved playing with it :o)

You have just a few more days to get this one if you want it. Remember it cannot be purchased, you can only get it for free with a qualifying order - personal or party.

I created another Ladybug Frame for this card. I did it a little differently though to my previous one - which you can see HERE. I used a stamp positioning tool instead of the Stamparatus - just to give you another option :o)

I used my homemade Cloud stencil again on this card and my new Grass stencil. If you want to see how I made these you can find the details HERE and HERE.

Here is the Video ...

Little Ladybug - Hello Card

I'm sharing another Little Ladybug card with you today :o)

This time I used all the Ladybug images to create a little scene atop a grouping of flowers.

I coloured the flowers in three different shades of yellow with my Stampin' Blends alcohol markers - So Saffron, Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody. I used masks on the Flowers after I stamped each one so I could overlap the flower heads.

I ink blended the background using Balmy Blue ink. Afterwards, I spritzed it with a little water and dabbed it with a cloth. Although the ink isn't a reactive ink as such, it does react a little with this and I love the effect it gives - it's difficult to pick up in the photos though :o)

The sentiment is from the Honey Bee stamp set. It was die cut using one of the Stitched Labels dies and the Black mat was created using one of the Painted labels dies.

Little Ladybug - Wobble Action Card - Video Tutorial

I'm sharing more very cute cards today! Although, I think all the cards created using the Little Ladybug stamp set are super cute!

These are Wobble Action cards. The Ladybug is on a spring so when you push her she wobbles - see cute! :o)

This card was my trial run. I did a bit of a boo-boo in that I stamped the Flowers using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and it should have been Versafine Onyx Blank so that I could emboss them. I didn't notice until I came to put the card together ... and by then I wasn't doing all that colouring again!

I used my homemade Cloud stencil on the background - I'm so pleased with it. How did I ever manage without it?! If you want to see how I made it, you can find the details HERE.

The Ladybug and sentiment were stamped using Versafine and heat embossed using Clear Powder.

I coloured the Ladybug using Daffodil Delight and Grey Granite Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

Here is the card I created in the Video. I love it! The colours are beautiful together and I really like how I coloured the Flowers for this one - I do show it in the Video.

The background Clouds on both cards were created using Pacific Point ink - with a light hand! The Flowers are in Pineapple Punch and Daffodil Delight and the Ladybug is in Lovely Lipstick.

I created my Wobble Action spring myself using Beading Wire (24/26 gauge).

The Flowers and Ladybug were all cut out by hand. We do have coordinating dies for this set now, but I don't own them.

Here is the Video ...
