Our Creative Corner - Challenge

This week's challenge over at Our Creative Corner is a sketch. I loved working with this sketch, it is so clean and fresh :o)

All the products used are from Stampin' UP!

Cardstock ...... Whisper White, Almost Amethyst

Stamp Set ....... Bloomin' With Beauty, Very Versatile (For sentiment)
Ink ............. Almost Amethyst
Ribbon .......... 1/4" Whisper White Grosgrain
Marker Pens ..... Almost Amethyst, Garden Green, Summer Sun

Our Creative Corner - Colour Challenge

This week's Our Creative Corner challenge is to create a card using your favourite colour combination. This was really hard ..... coz I have so many! :) But I settled on Red, Green and Brown. I use this a lot and with the right shades of the colours think they look great together.

The image is a Messy Rabbit stamp, coloured with Promarker pens. I have used DCWV cardstock and one of my favourite Stampin' UP! sentiment stamps from the Very Versatile set. The papers are from Daisy Bucket Designs, Astor Park collection. The sentiment mats are created using Stampin' UP! large oval and word window punches together with their Real Red grosgrain ribbon.

Our Creative Corner - Challenge

I discovered another challenge site this week and decided to use the sketch. The sketch actually has an oval in the middle of it BUT ... I don't do ovals .... lol! Circles are hard enough, but ovals .... not a chance. I've tried them and it wasn't good! So until I get a die cutter option sorted ..... no ovals :)

Have used the same Magnolia stamp again .... sorry! Must try and get hold of some different ones soon :) I've coloured her with Promarker pens as usual. The papers are all from Fancy Pants and the cardstock this time is DCWV. The sentiment and sentiment mat are created using the Stampin' UP! Cute and Curly stamp set and punch. These aren't available in the UK unfortunately, but I have a super friend who bought them for me when she was on hols in the States recently ....... thank you Alison xxx
