Party Wishes - With Pop-Up Dies

I have used just one stamp from the Party Wishes set for this card. I stamped it twice - first in Mint Macaron and punched it out using the 1 ½" Circle punch - then again, using the Melon Mambo marker, onto the white banner piece :o)

This was such a simple and quick card to create - and perfect for either a Male or Female birthday :o)

The background was embossed using the Confetti folder and the paper comes from the It's My Party 12" x 12" paper stack.

Inside, I used one of the Party Pop-Up thinlits dies. I love the added 'surprise' this creates when the card is opened! I coloured it using my Aqua Pen and ink pads.

CASE-ing The Catalogue - Party Wishes

I held my Spring / Summer catalogue launch Event this weekend and created lots of projects for the displays :o) Some of them I CASED from the new catalogue. There are so many beautiful samples in there that you can't help but be inspired :o)

You will find this card - or one very similar - on page 4 in the It's My Party suite of products. It uses the new Party Wishes stamp set together with the coordinating Confetti embossing folder.

I thought this would be a quick and simple sample to copy - BUT when I came to do it, it gave me pause! 

I couldn't find the confetti stamp used in the centre panel, under the cake. After searching the catalogue and not finding it, I finally realised the designer had used the edges of the Make A Wish stamp!

Also when I came to do the Mint Macaroon loops under the cake, I found that we didn't do this colour in our thick Baker's Twine :o) It took a while before I worked out that they had used the new Black and Macaroon Twine on page 6 - but they had removed the black strands from it :o)

Party Wishes - Birthday

The Party Wishes stamp set is the perfect choice for Birthdays! It's great for both male and female cards :o) 

It's part of the It's My Party suite of products in the new Spring / Summer catalogue. 

The paper is from our new 12" x 12" stack - also called It's My Party. I love this stack. It has 48 sheets of beautiful bright designs - perfect for birthdays and many other occasions.

The cake stamp is a plain block. I 'kissed' it with the Dots For Days background stamp to transfer the dots on to the cake.
