Petal Palette - Final Card

My final Petal Palette card ....

I used Mossy Meadow ink to stamp the Leaves onto the background layer - both will full strength ink and again having stamped 'off'. 

I then ran this layer through the Big Shot using the Subtle embossing folder. This folder is my absolute favourite. It's well named and the effect you get is very 'subtle'. But it's also a really lovely finish ... almost tapestry like with wonderful texture.

I hadn't used the little Flowers before so wanted to make them the main focus of this card - again there is a matching die, so no fussy cutting needed :o)

Petal Palette - Best Wishes

This last week I've had my final play with the Petal Palette stamp set and coordinating Petals & More Thinlits dies. This is another set I hadn't really had a chance to use much.

I wanted to use all the flower images on this card so coloured those first and cut them out with the dies.  They were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured using the Stampin' Blends Alcohol markers. 

I stamped and coloured the larger flowers again and this time cut them out by hand before layering them onto the first set using Dimensionals.

The background paper is from the Subtles 6" stack. All the 6" stacks will be retiring as well, we will have new designs in the paper next month :o)

Quick Gift Bag (3 Sizes) using Petal Palette - Video Tutorial

In today's Video I show you how to create these cute Gift Bags. They are very quick and easy to do. 

All of these Gift Bags were created using a 12" x 6" piece of Designer Series Paper. I show you how to create the middle sized one in the Video, but the scoring for all of them is detailed below. It's a very versatile little Bag and easy to adjust the size of it for whatever you need.

I chose the Petal Palette stamp set and coordinating Petals & More Thinlits dies to decorate the bags with.

All the Bags are a great size, perfect for so many different uses :o) If you find that you need one a little taller than they are here, all you have to do is increase the 6" side by whatever you need.

Of course, I had to create a coordinating card too - using exactly the same supplies and layout. 

Sadly the stamp set and dies will not be carrying over to the new catalogue in June ... one reason why I'm making the most of them now :o)
