Petal Potpourri - April Scrapbook Class With Sweet Taffy

For last month's Scrapbook Class I wanted to use the glorious Sweet Taffy Designer Series Papers.

These papers are beautiful .... they are lucious, rich and bright :o)

I decided to create a double Page layout.

All the designs in this set of papers are lovely. I had a hard time choosing which to use - but I think I got most of them in :o)

I love to use this type of layout too. It doesn't matter what orientation you use - it looks fab :o)

The flowers were created using the Petal Potpourri stamp set.

Petal Potpourri - Birthday

I love the colour combination of Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo! It's rich, bright and beautiful!

I used the combination for this Birthday card which we created in my Technique Class this month.

The Technique was floating re-inker. It got a little messy, but everyone's card turned out fabulous :o)

The Petal Potpourri stamp set contains several different flowers, but this one is my favourite. These were all cut out by hand. Because the coordinating Flower Medallion punch gives you a border around the petals, we couldn't use it with this technique.

Petal Potpourri Gold Soiree Card

Today's card is a perfect accompaniment to yesterdays little gift box :o)

I used the same supplies as yesterday's box - although I wish now that I had moved the flowers up a little and added the ribbon underneath too! But .... hey ho .... it'll do :o)

I added Crystal Effects to the centre of the flowers ..... make sure you do this after you punch them out! Once the Crystal Effects is on there - even when dry (depending on  how much you added), it may be too thick to go into your punch! Obviously I found this out through actual experience and had to hand cut a couple of my flowers :o)

The 'set' looks beautiful together too :o)
