More with ..... Pocketful Of Sunshine!

This was the second card I designed using the Pocketful of Sunshine bundle for my Team Training make and take this month.

This time I used the pocket as it was meant to be - for the last card it was glued flat. I slotted the map inside and added the sunglasses so that it looked like they were hooked into the top of the pocket.

I love the little pocket tab that comes with this set ... and all the cute sentiments that fit inside it!

The large sentiment is one of those in the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.

Pocketful Of Sunshine

The Pocketful of Sunshine bundle was not one that immediately called to me from the new Annual Catalogue. BUT ... I bought it because I like a challenge and like to do something different from time to time :o)

I know many love this bundle .... and I can now see why :o) It's a really fun set .... and like I said, different to the normal floral or cutesy sets that I like.

I decided to design a couple of cards using the bundle for my Team Training make and takes this month. I knew none of my ladies had this set yet, so it gave them an opportunity to play .... and fall in love with it :o)

Pocketful of Sunshine - Treat Holder

I have been playing with the Pocketful of Sunshine bundle on and off over the last few weeks. I will show you some of the cards I created with it in forthcoming posts :o)

I decided to use the bundle to create these little Treat Holders for my Class Gifts last month.

They are really simple to do ....

You need to cut two of the pockets - one for the front and one for the back.

You can make them as deep as you like, but I made mine ½" wide.

I used a 7 ½" strip (½" wide) and scored it at 2 ¼",  3 ¾" and 5 ¼". I added a length of Tear and Tape against each edge and just applied this to the front and back Pocket pieces.

The handle was 8" long and ¾" wide. I folded this in half long ways and then added it to the Pocket using our Tombow Multipurpose wet glue.

This Night of Navy Crinkled Seam Binding is gorgeous! It makes beautiful bows really easily .... and comes in four great colours!

The 'Gift' was a Chocolate Treat wrapped in some of the Delightful Daisy paper.
