Team Training - Make and Take

I held my Monthly Team Meeting this Wednesday evening.

Of course we craft when we get together and this was the little project I designed as Make & Take.

This sweet little Beach Bag was designed by Sandi MacIver - she has created a video showing you how to make them on her blog.

I had to make my Bag a bit bigger than Sandi's so that I could fit my cards and envelopes inside. I used a piece of DSP 8" x 4" - but scored and made it as Sandi shows. The handles I used were 6" x 1/4".

The only thing I changed was the base. Sandi uses Washi Tape to seal the bottom of the bag. Instead of doing this, I cut a small piece of cardstock to go inside and stuck the base to this to seal it :o)

These cute little Thank You cards are just 3" square (7.5cm). They fit perfectly inside our Mini Square Envelopes.

Sea Street - Birthday

This is my final Sea Street card for a little while. I have one more project to show you, but that will be next week :o)

I have enjoyed using this set ... it's fun! .... even cutting out those Octopus hasn't put me off!

I used the Stylish Stripes embossing folder for the background layer.

The sentiment mats were cut out with the Big Shot using dies from the Ovals Collection and the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits.

Sea Street - Octopus Card

This adorable octopus stamp is part of the Sea Street set.

I stamped him onto a scrap piece of Whisper White and cut him out by hand ..... not an easy task - but doable! :o)

A super cute card for a child .... but I think it would also do for an older 'Boy' too :o)
