Bloom With Hope - Watercolour

Bloom with Hope is one of the Hostess stamp sets from the back of the main catalogue.  You can choose this set for FREE when placing an order (or hosting a party) if you qualify for Hostess Credits or Stampin' Rewards.

I stamped the image several times using Versamark ink and then heat embossed using White embossing powder. I then used my Markers to add a little colour before using my Aqua Brush to 'pull' the colour where I wanted it over the flowers.

I embossed the Wisteria background mat using the Decorative Dots embossing folder.

The greeting comes from the Wetlands stamp set.

Sweetbriar Rose - Splatter Background

Sweetbriar Rose is another of our single stamp sets in the catalogue .... and it's another pretty one :o)

This was the second card we completed at my Technique class this month. It showcases the Splatter background Technique. I used this Technique for my last Scrapbook class, but wanted to show my other ladies how simple it was to do.

You add drops of reinker into little pots of water and give them a stir. We then used the Aqua Painter to pick up the liquid and gave it a tap or two to produce the splatter effect.

The image was coloured using the Aqua Painter and the ink pads. 

The little hearts were created using our new Hearts Border punch.

We added a little Dazzling Diamonds to the centre of the flowers, to give them a little sparkle :o)
