Technique - Pinwheel

This is one of the cards we created at my Technique Class this month.


Creating the Pinwheel is really easy. You start with a square of paper and cut from each of the corners about 2/3rds down towards the centre. Then fold one side of each corner in to the centre and secure with glue dots.

Beautiful, Simple Packaging

I love making boxes. I especially love using Stampin' Up!s gorgeous products to make boxes :o) These were created so quickly using the new Simply Scored Tool!

It was my dear friend Martha's birthday yesterday and this was the little present stack I gave her.


I met Martha at my very first Open House way back when :o) She was also my very first party Hostess. She has supported me right from the very start and is a beautiful, generous and very dear lady :o) I hope you had a wonderful Birthday Martha! xxx

June Class - Mixed Bunch

My June project class used the beautiful Mixed Bunch stamp set (page 25 Summer Mini Catalogue) and the Adorning Accent Edgelit Die (page 9 Summer Mini Catalogue).

The project consisted of a Gift Bag and three co-ordinating cards. The Gift Bag was created using the Simply Scored Tool (page 7 Summer Mini catalogue) - I have also included the measurements in metric for anyone who has not got the Simply Scored :o)

The colour combination I used for this set is Island Indigo, Baja Breeze, Blushing Bride and Whisper White. We also used some of the new Pleated Satin Ribbon :o)

Technique - Faux Gingham

As soon as I saw the Baby Prints stamp set in the Summer Mini Catalogue I knew I had to have it :o) I just think it's the sweetest thing with those little feet and hands.


This is one of the cards we completed at my Technique Classes in May. It showcases the Faux Gingham technique which you create using the Stripes Embossing Folder.


Ink up the folder in your chosen colour of ink and run your card stock through the Big Shot - I used Glossy card stock.


You can use a different colour ink for the next lot of stripes if you wish - remember to clean the Embossing Folder before inking it up again :o) Or just use the same colour again as I have done here.


Ink up the Folder a second time and position the card stock back inside - after having given it a quarter turn. Run it back through the Big Shot - and your done :o)

Bordering On Romance

This is another of the projects we created at my Summer Mini Event earlier this month.

The Gift/Card Purse is created using one sheet of 12"x12" Designer Series Paper - and no cutting involved :o)

The papers used are from the new Twitterpated collection. We also used some of the new Riding Hood Red Satin Pleated Ribbon. This is my new favourite Ribbon! It's the most beautiful Ribbon Stampin' Up! have every produced!

The Labels Collection Framelit Dies were used to create the mats and also to emboss the mats.

The Bordering On Romance stamp set was used for the images, which were coloured using a Blender Pen and ink pads.
