Frosted Snowman Season Card - Video Tutorial

Hi There! :o)

My Video today showcases the Snowman Season stamp set again. I love this set, the images are just too cute!

This is such a simple card. I added extra texture by 'frosting' my Snowman and the little snow banks that he is sat on :o)

I used our gorgeous new Stampin' Ice Glitter for this. It's clear, but adds a lovely sparkle to your projects.

I used my Stampin' Blends Alcohol markers to colour him. You can still see all the details even though he is covered in the glitter.

His hat was coloured using Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Mango Melody (I said Crushed Curry in the Video).

I stamped on Thick Whisper White this time and used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere the Ice Glitter. If you use the normal weight Whisper White card you may find that it warps and buckles slightly as the glue dries - it's quite a wet glue. You shouldn't get this with the thicker card :o)

Here is the Video ...

Mini Domed Top Treat Box - Video Tutorial

In today's Video I show you how I created these Mini Domed Top Treat Boxes.

They are large enough to squeeze in a couple of Ferrero Rocher chocolates :o)

These little boxes are such a lovely shape. Of course you don't have to use them just for chocolate treats, you could use them for little gifts too - jewellery for instance.

The Box on the right is the one I created in the Video. I used some of our gorgeous Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper for each of these. It has beautiful Copper Foil accents on it!

I also used the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and one of the coordinating punches - this was it's first inking for me :o)

As always, I like to show you more samples. This one use the Sailing Home stamp set and Smooth Sailing Dies together with the Come Sail Away papers.

I used the Magnolia Blooms stamp set here together with some of the Magnolia Lane papers.

Of course I had to make one with the Free As A Bird stamp set as well - I just love that set! The paper is from the Bird Ballad pack and I used the Stitched Nested Labels dies for the Tag, reducing the size of them on my die cutting machine.

And this one is my favourite! It's just so darn sweet! I used card stock for this one and stamped it with pieces of circular scrap rubber from various stamp sets - I was hoping this would resemble the Giraffe's coat :o)

The stamp set is Animal Outing.

Here is the Video ...

Measurements

Brightly Gleaming DSP                                              8½”  x  4¾

Note: If using cardstock and your standard size is A4, you can use the width of the card (8¼”) instead of cutting it to 8½”. The ½” side Tab will become ¼” instead.

With the 8½” side across the top of your Simply Scored Board …

Score at 2”,  4”,  6” and  8”

Turn the paper clockwise so that the 4¾” side is across the top … Score at 2”

Turn the paper back to the first position.

The next score lines should only go down 1¼”. I used a ruler at this point to know where to stop scoring. Alternatively you could draw a light pencil line across this point.

Score at 1”,  3”,  5” and  7”

Note: Don’t forget to score the little TRIANGLEsections!

Ribbon                                                                                  approx. 12” / 30.5cm
Metallic Thread                                                                    approx. 6” / 15.25cm

You will also need a little Whisper White card for stamping / punching.
