Watercolour Wings - In Blue

I love this card .... It's such a clean, simple layout .... but so pretty with the lovely neutral paper in the background. It did send me into a panic though once I had finished creating it.

The Watercolour Wings stamp set includes a little stamp with three distressed dots on it. I used it to stamp around the edges of the Base Card. Could I find it after I had finished using it? NOOOO! I was not happy. This wasn't the first time I had mislaid a photopolymer stamp. Last time was my Painted Petals set and I ended up buying a second set before finding the missing stamps stuck to my Wild Wasabi scrap bag!! I didn't want that to happen again, so cleared off my entire desk searching for it ..... then dragged through my office bin and finally the dustbin outside (yuk)! I had just decided that I could live without it (*sob*) when I found it stuck to the back of my iPad!!!

I love photopolymer but it's very stressful when the stamps go walkies! Has this happened to you yet?

The Watercolour Wings set is available in a Bundle with the Bold Butterfly Framelits. These are a 'must have' .... and you get a 15% saving when buying them together as a Bundle.

Watercolour Wings - Thanks Card

Over the last few days I have been getting ready for this month's Scrapbook Class.

I have had the Watercolour Wings stamp set ever since the New Catalogue came out, but hadn't inked it up. I decided to use it for this month's class together with the English Garden Designer Series Papers ......... and ...... I'm in LOVE! :o)

I have no idea why it has taken me this long to start using it, but now I have ... I can't stop! :o) It's GORGEOUS! I will show you the Scrapbook Pages I designed later this week - after the class :o) But after creating them I wanted to make some cards with these beautiful Butterflies on them .... and I wanted to keep using the gorgeous papers too!

The sentiment was cut out using one of the Greetings Thinlits - another product getting its first outing here! :o)

Gift Bag Punch Board - Sweet Little Box

This little box was the final project in my Gift Bag Punch Board class.

This one is not my design at all. It's a complete CASE of one by the lovely and very talented Linda Parker :o)

Again .... we used papers from the School House DSP pack to decorate it.

The base of the box measures 3 ⅝" x 2". You could easily adjust the size of this one, because the box is mainly created using the Simply Scored board.

The Punch Board is used only for creating the lovely shaped Tabs after all the scoring has been done :o)

The five projects all together :o)
