Beauty Abounds - With Bloom & Grow - Sneak Peek

Today's project is this very pretty card :o) 

I used the Floral Flourish image from the Beauty Abounds stamp set to create the background. I stamped it randomly all over the Whisper White panel using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured the images using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. 

The sentiment is from the Bloom & Grow stamp set and is one of my current favourites!

The sneak peek is the die used to create the Purple Posy panel under the sentiment. I used one of the dies from the Tasteful Labels set - this will be available from 3rd June. The set consists of 10 different sized and shaped labels dies. I think it's going to be very popular!

Stampin Friends Blog Hop - Masculine

Here are the projects I created for this month's Hop ...

I used the Stitched Nested Labels dies and the Sailing Home stamp set to create a Gift Box and coordinating card.

You can find a Video below showing you how I created the Gift Box.

The Gift Box is almost 5" long, 2⅝" wide and 2" tall. I used the largest of the Stitched Nested Labels dies to create it.

The background for the front panel was created using a couple of the stamps from the Label Me Bold stamp set. The images come from the Sailing Home set.

I created the image panel for the front of my card in exactly the same way that I created the top of the Gift Box, I just cut it out using larger dies.

The paper is from the Come Sail Away Designer Series paper pack.

Measurements

Note: You can follow either metric or imperial for this project – the results will be the same.

                                                       

Gift Box - Base

Night Of Navy (x2)                                           17.5cm x 6.3cm           (6⅞” x 2½”)  

With the LONG side across the top, score at:   

3.8cm, 7.6cm and 16.2cm        (1½”, 3” and 6⅜”)

With the SHORT side across the top, score at:          

1.3cm           (½”)

Gift Box - Lid

Night Of Navy (x2)                                           17.8cm x 5.1cm           (7” x 2”)  

With the LONG side across the top, score at:   

4cm, 8cm and 16.5cm   (1 9/16”, 3⅛”and 6½”)

With the SHORT side across the top, score at:          

1.3cm           (½”)

Mats For Lid

Come Sail Away DSP (x2)                                 8.2cm x 3.5cm             (3¼” x 1⅜”)

Come Sail Away DSP (x4)                                 3.5cm x 3.5cm             (1⅜” x 1⅜”)  

You will need Whisper White card for stamping and Soft Suede and Night of Navy card for die-cutting.

Piece Of Cake - Birthday

I'm still playing with the Piece Of Cake stamp set. This is retiring at the end of the month and it's one I haven't used much yet, so I'm getting some time in now before it's gone :o)

 The Delicate Lace dies are also going. I love these, but again they aren't ones I've played with that much ... I just have too much stuff! :o)

The paper used is from our (already retired) previous 2017 - 2019 In Colour 6" pack in Pineapple Punch. 

All the images were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.
