Geared Up Garage - Masculine Card - Video Tutorial

I inked up a new stamp set for today's cards. There is also a Video Tutorial below showing you how to create them.

Geared Up Garage and the coordinating Garage Gears Thinlits are a great starting point for creating traditional 'masculine' cards :o)

This is the card I created in the Video - it's just a little different to the original :o)

The car and sentiment were stamped with the Stamparatus, first using Memento Black ink. I then stamped right over top of them using Versamark ink and heat embossed using Clear powder. You can do this for any colour ink, so can create embossing in all colours even without that particular colour in the powder ... it's a really simple technique and super easy to do with the Stamparatus.

The car was coloured using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I didn't do any blending here, just straight forward colouring.

Here is the Video .....

Fable Friends - Last In Series

This is the third and final card in my Fable Friends mini series. You can see the others HERE and HERE.

All the images in this stamp set are absolutely adorable, so reminiscent of the sweet Beatrix Potter characters!

Again, the layout is simple, giving the beautiful image pride of place :o)

I chose not to add any sentiments to these cards, but they could be added at a later date once I decide what I am going to use them for. The stamp set does come with several sentiments all in beautiful fonts and you could use these or any others from different stamp sets.

The image was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured using the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

Lovely Lattice - Final Sparkly Stained Glass

This is the last of the Sparkly Stained Glass cards I made a couple of weeks ago. I do love this Technique though, so no doubt there will be more in the future :o)

I switched back to Lovely Lattice for this one. This is one of the Freebie Sale-a-Bration stamp sets.

If you are interested in seeing my other cards using this Technique then you can find them HERE, HERE and HERE. You can also find a Video Tutorial HERE.

The image is stamped onto Window Sheet (Acetate) using Stazon ink and coloured on the reverse using Stampin' Blends Alcohol markers.

The colour I used for the flowers is actually Dark Blackberry Bliss! I was really surprised how different it looked on the acetate, nothing like it does when you colour onto card. I decided not to use Blackberry Bliss card for my layer because of this and instead used Lovely Lipstick, which was a closer match.

The dotty background paper is from another Sale-a-Bration Freebie - the Botanical Butterfly 12" Designer Series paper pack.

The sentiment is from the Vibrant Vases stamp set.
